The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 is a graphics card launched on January 12th, 2021, built on the 8 nm semiconductor process and based on the GA106 graphics processor. The DirectX 12 Ultimate technology permits all video games to be playable. NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 1080 was released in 2016 and built on the 16 nm manufacturing process. It used the GP104 graphics processor and ran the DirectX 12 API.
